Today's game marked the U16 team's first match of 2025, and they’ve successfully reached the final of the League Cup!

The lads displayed a professional performance, showing the talent of this group of players. Defensively, they were outstanding; they limited the oppositions chances significantly, and anything that did get through was expertly handled by our keeper James. Our clearances, recovery runs, and aerial duels were all great quality, especially considering some players hadn’t played much football in the last few weeks.

The midfield and attackers showed great energy. They created excellent opportunities and scored an early goal, which really set the tone for the match. There were excellent displays all over the pitch today. Clayton came on and demonstrated impressive strength and power while running with the ball, finishing his goal beautifully. The defenders were all in great form; Seth brought passion and determination from the outset, while Samuel was commanding and led by example. However, this week’s man of the match is Josh. Josh was phenomenal, winning numerous headers, staying calm under pressure, and being decisive with his challenges and distribution.

Great job, Josh, and well done to the entire team!

Another strong performance from the Under 8s in an exciting game with Ercall Colts Rangers. Both teams played their part in what was a great game of futsal. Well done to Sonny who was superb with his hard work and dedication. Also to Arthur who made a string of great saves. 👏👏👏

Our under 10 girls were back in action today, for the first time in five weeks, playing in the Management Cup against Shifnal Lionesses.
The lack of game time showed in the first half with Shifnal playing some great football and applying a lot of pressure, but the girls worked hard to stay in the game.
The second half the girls stepped up and applied their own pressure, playing some brilliant football and coming out eventually winners, moving into the quarter finals.
Well done girls.
