Dawley Wanderers U12 girls competed against Shrewsbury Up and Comers in a fantastic end to end match today. We had a full squad for the first time and it was fantastic to see the girls playing as a team for each other. Passing was much better with the girls looking up to find each other on the pitch and move the ball forward. They managed to come back from a 0-2 deficit to draw 2-2, battling to the end and showing fantastic passion. Players Player was Tilly who was strong across the pitch showing fantastic determination and desire for the ball. Parents Player was Willow who was amazing in goal pulling off some vital saves which required her to be very brave. Coaches player was Alexa who played in a new position today at RB, although she was a little unsure at first she was really strong and made some
